RICHMOND, VA - Junior Collin Stevenson battled the wind at last weekends Fred Hardy Invitational to set a pair of personal records as select members of the men's cross country team competed at the University of Richmond's annual Invite.
Stevenson placed 10th in the 1,500 meters in a time of 4:01.81. With this being the first time in years that Stevenson has been healthy in the spring, the native of Sumner, WA, was also able to PR in the 3,000 meters, with a time of 8:42.55, good for eight place.
Also competing for the men was freshman Andrew Zahornacky, who placed 28th in the 800 meters, and 29th in the 1,500 meters.
Members of the women's cross country teams will compete again on the track this Friday, April 4, at the Duke Invitational in Durham, NC.
