Women's Swimming Remains in Ninth Place After Day Three of A-10 Championships

BUFFALO, NY -The George Washington women's swimming & diving team remains in ninth place after the third day of the 2008 Atlantic 10 Championships Friday at the Flickinger Aquatic Center.

Junior Ariana Berdini recorded a sixth place performance in the 100-yard breaststroke, touching the final wall in 1:06.25. Sophomore Katrina Timlin and junior Lauren Fuchs also tallied points for GW in that same event with 10th and 13th place finishes, respectively. Timlin finished in 1:06.19 and Fuchs in 1:07.85.

Fuchs also scored in the 400-yard IM (4:41.69) with a 15th place finish.

The fourth and final day of the Atlantic 10 Championships will be held Saturday at Flickinger. The morning trials begin at 10:30 am and the finals commence at 6:30 pm.
